CME Information, Policies, and FAQs

CME & CEU ACCREDITATION

Physician Assistants
AKH Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 11.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A cancellation fee of $75.00 will be charged for all registrations cancelled prior to March 12, 2024.  There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the conference start date, with the following exceptions:

 

  • Death in the Family – Provide written notification – When approved, a full refund will be made.
  • Medical Reason – Provide a letter from your Attending Physician stating the reason preventing your attendance at the Conference – If approved, your Conference Registration fee will be refunded.
  • Natural Disaster – Provide a letter indicating the circumstances preventing your attendance at the Virtual Conference – If approved, your Conference Registration fee will be refunded.

Please allow four (4) weeks for processing of any approved refund.

 

CTNPPA reserves the right to cancel the Conference up to four (4) weeks prior to the event.

 

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

All credit card charges relating to Conference will be made to the CTNPPA, your credit card statement will reflect as such. If you are using a company credit card please provide your employer with this information. Please do not dispute this charge, as it will invalidate your Registration. Checks are NOT accepted as payment for the CTNPPA Conference Registration.

PARKING

  • Valet parking is available at $40.00 per day.
  • Parking for guests not staying overnight is available at the Newport Gateway Transportation Center at the current seasonal rates of $40.00.
  • Listed rates are subject to change.
